Who Are You?
We are Robert May of Holloway Limited, one of the leading suppliers of shopfittings in the UK. We operate from a large London showroom and warehouse. We also print a mail order catalogue of our shopfitting products which we supply to retailers nationwide.
Our customer base ranges from small independent traders to many of the UK's leading department stores and multiples, so you can be confident in our ability to supply your shop fittings needs efficiently.

How safe is it to order from you?
We are an established company (since 1963) and have built solid business relations with many of the stores and multiples throughout the UK.

Security of payment card data is crucial in the online world. The standard to protect card data is the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is a joint venture between Visa and Mastercard, supported by all banks.

We use Actinic Payments, powered by Creditcall, which is a processing system for secure online payments for Actinic ecommerce and mail order software (used by this website). It offers the highest level of functionality of any secure internet payments system compatible with Actinic products with the highest level of bank-approved security (PCI DSS Level 1).

What are your delivery charges?
Our standard carriage charge for the UK mainland (excluding Isle of Wight and Scottish postcodes AB, IV, KW, PA, and PH) is 10% of the goods value before VAT with a minimum charge of £10.00.

Our standard carriage charge to the Isle of Wight and Scottish postcodes AB, IV, KW, PA, and PH is 10% of the goods value before VAT plus £15 surcharge. There is a minimum charge of £25.00.

Important Note:
For the majority of our products the carriage charges above will apply, however, for a few products which are bulky, heavy or require special handling, extra charges will apply, this will be noted on the product details and may require you to contact us prior to ordering.

Who can buy from you?
As we are a business to business company we can only supply our goods to businesses or to private individuals for use in their own business.

I am a new customer, how do I order?
Simply place the items you wish to purchase in the basket as normal and proceed to the checkout when ready. You can then pay by credit or debit card for delivery to you.

I have a credit account with Robert May of Holloway, how do I order?
Please contact us by phone, email, fax, or call in to our showroom as you normally do. You can of course place orders through this website for delivery to you by using the shopping cart and card payment facility.

Do you have a minimum order value?
Yes. Minimum order value £25.00, excluding carriage and VAT .


My transaction failed but I have been charged for the goods anyway.
You will not have been charged, the transaction has been voided and no money will change hands, however there may be an authorisation hold for the value of the transaction placed on your credit card account or bank account.

It is common practice within the banking industry to place an authorisation hold for the amount of a transaction on a customers account. This is done once the initial checks are passed . If the final checks then fail, the transaction is voided and no money is exchanged. However, the authorisation hold still remains on the customers account for 1-5 days although in some cases it can be as long as 30 days.

Normally the transaction hold goes unnoticed but occasionally it can cause a problem for debit or credit card accounts near their limit, the problem can be further compounded where the transaction has been attempted more than once.

As a merchant we will have voided the actual transaction but are unable to void the transaction hold on your account. We can only suggest that you contact your card issuer or bank if you are in this position.

I am not in the UK, can I order from you?
We can only directly supply customers in the UK. If you are from outside the UK please contact our export managers:

Yes, you can request a catalogue to be sent to you by post. There is also the facility on this site to download PDF's of the catalogue pages. Please see the CATALOGUE page for details.

Do you have a showroom?
Yes, you can find our extensive range of shopfittings on display at our large London Showroom.

Saturday & Sunday Closed.

All orders placed through this website are for delivery to you. Alternatively you can contact us by phone, email, or fax to arrange payment and collection from our showroom.
